Terms of Use
Last updated 10 September 2026
Uniroof is a shared household organiser — tasks, home upkeep, bills, shopping, and family details for the people under one roof. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Uniroof.
Your account
You must give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite into your household. You must be old enough to form a contract in your country to run a household; younger family members may be added by an adult in the household.
Households and shared content
A household is a shared space. Anything you add to a shared space — tasks, notes, contacts, people, children’s records, photos — is visible to the other members of that household, and to admins who can manage membership. Private work spaces are visible only to the member who owns them. Don’t add other people’s personal information unless you have a good reason and their agreement where one is expected.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Uniroof to:
- break the law or help anyone else do so;
- store or share content that is harassing, hateful, or abusive;
- upload malware, probe or attack the service, or bypass access controls;
- resell or bulk-scrape the service, or use it to send spam.
We may suspend or remove accounts and households that break these rules or put the service or other users at risk.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you put into Uniroof. You grant us only the permission needed to store, back up, and display that content to your household so the app can work. You can export your data or delete your household at any time from Settings.
Reminders and email
Uniroof can send a daily reminder push and household invitation emails. These are part of the service, not marketing. You can turn reminders off in Settings.
Availability and changes
Uniroof is offered as-is, without warranties. We may change, pause, or stop features, and we’ll try to give notice for anything significant. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (currently zero, as the app is free).
Ending your use
You can stop using Uniroof and delete your account whenever you like. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Updates to these terms
If we make a material change we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Uniroof after a change means you accept the revised terms.
